3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
1/2 cup sliced onion
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups scalded milk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375°. Grease a 2 quart casserole dish. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Arrange alternate layers of potatoes and onion in casserole dish. Sprinkle each layer with flour mixture and dot throughout layers with butter or margarine. Pour milk over layers, cover. Bake 45 minutes, uncover and bake 15 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.
