Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Hawaiian sweet bread (sliced 1 & 1/2 inches thick) or Texas Toast
4 eggs beaten
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon pure vanilla
Dash of salt
2/3 to 1 cup half 'n half
2 to 3 dashes cinnamon (Watkins is best)
Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Dip bread quickly in batter and fry on hot griddle sprayed with Pam then add a pad of butter and place the dipped bread on the butter. When the french toast is lightly browned, add more butter to the top of bread then sprinkle with sugar or a mixture of cinnamon and sugar and flip bread over onto pan to form a glaze. Repeat on the other side. The "glazing" is what makes this french toast so unique! Can serve with fresh maple syrup or a favorite at Onieta's bed and breakfast is to serve with fresh squeezed lemon juice and sprinkle with powdered sugar. This recipe is not as complicated as it sounds.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This wonderful french toast is the breakfast most requested at Onieta's Chiricahua Bed and Breakfast.
