3/4 cup milk
4 large eggs
2 tablespoons brandy
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon sugar
9 small croissants
Melted butter

Garnish:

Confectioners sugar
Raspberries

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk milk, eggs, brandy, vanilla and sugar. Cut croissants in half lengthwise. Dip croissants in milk mixture and place in casserole dish for 30 minutes. Preheat griddle to 350° and brush with melted butter. Cook croissant halves on griddle until golden brown on both sides.

Serve warm and garnish with confectioners sugar and raspberries if desired. Yields 3 servings.

Coffee was a must at the Levine house and Azzie made the strongest chicory coffee I ever tasted. I had to have my coffee too with everyone else so Azzie would pour a little coffee in a small pot and pour more cream and sugar than coffee. That is why today I have to have my coffee with cream and sugar. I wish I could drink coffee black, she spoiled me.
