Ingredients: 3 lbs Round Steak 3/4" thick 2 tbsp Veg. Oil 3 tbsp instant chopped onions 1 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp prepared yellow mustard 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce 3/4 cup catsup 3/4 cup water 1/2 cup white vinegar 1/2 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper * My mom always doubled all the ingredients except for the meat to make more sauce for serving. So, I can't tell you how it tastes without doubling.

Directions:Cut meat into serving size pieces. In large skillet brown meat in oil over med. heat. Remove meat to Dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients to skillet, bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer 5 minutes. Pour over meat. Cover Dutch oven with lid or tin foil. Bake in oven for 2 hours at 350º F til tender. |
