2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 sticks butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 ounce bottle red food coloring
2 teaspoons vanilla

FROSTING:
8 ounces cream cheese
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 pound powdered sugar (3 3/4 cups)

Directions:
Directions:
Cake: Cream butter and sugar 5 to 7 minutes. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in sour cream, milk, food coloring and vanilla. Gradually blend in cocoa, baking soda, salt, and flour. Pour batter into greased and floured 9" round cake pans. Bake at 350º for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan to cool on wire rack. Cool cake completely before frosting.

Frosting: Beat cream cheese, butter and sour cream in medium bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Put first cake layer on serving platter and spread with frosting. Add second cake layer and frost sides and top of cake.
