2 9" layers chocolate cake
2 20-ounce cans cherry pie filling
3 cups whipping cream
1/3 cup powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Split each cake layer horizontally, setting one half layer aside. Beat whipping cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Reserve 1 1/2 cups. Place one cake layer on serving plate. Spread with 1 cup whipped cream; top with 3/4 cup pie filling. Top with second cake layer, 1 cup whipped cream and 3/4 cup pie filling. Top with third cake layer. Frost cake sides with remaining whipped cream and pat gently with reserved cake crumbs. Pipe remaining 1 1/2 cups whipped cream around top and bottom edges of cake. Spoon remaining pie filling over top of cake.
