1/2 cup cooked bacon, crisp and crumbled
sliced almonds
1-10 oz.pkg spinach, washed, stems removed
1-10 0z. can mandarin oranges, drained and chilled.

Dressing :
1 cup catsup
1 cup veg oil
2/3 cup vinegar
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp each salt
celery seed
1/2 tsp paprika
juice from 1 lemon
1 minced garlic clove
pinch of dry mustard
splash of Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all dressing ingredients in a quart jar, and shake well. Use as much as you prefer on the salad. Keeps well in the refrigerator.

Saute almonds in bacon grease until light brown. Drain and set aside. In a large bowl toss fresh spinach and oranges. Stir in dressing and add bacon and almonds. Mix all together and serve.
