1 package yellow cake mix, dry
2/3 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1-10oz. package miniature marshmallows
2/3 cup white corn syrup
1- 12 oz pkg. peanut butter chips
1/4 cup butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups cocktail peanuts

Directions:

Combine dry cake mix with 2/3 cup butter and egg. Pat into jelly roll pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes (will not look done, but remove anyhow). Remove from oven, sprinkle with marshmallows, then return to oven for 5 minutes or until marshmallows are melted. Remove from oven and let cool.
To make topping, combine corn syrup, peanut butter chips and 1/4 cup butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat on high for 2 minutes, stir, and add vanilla. Cook for approximately 1 more minute, stirring to mix well. Pour mixture over baked crust and sprinkle with peanuts, lightly pressing into soft topping. Cool completely (overnight is best) before cutting in to bars.
