1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs or soda cracker crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
2 T. minced onion
butter
1/2 c. water
1 can cream of celery soup
1 - 4 oz. can mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Combine meat, celery, crumbs, egg, salt, pepper and onion. Shape into oval patties. Brown in butter on both sides in skillet. Combine soup, water and mushrooms and pour over meat. Cook slowly in covered skillet for 25 minutes.
