4 c. flour
1 pkg. dry yeast or 2 1/4 T. bulk yeast
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten (save the whites)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. oleo or butter
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar

Filling:
3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 c. ground nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Dough
1. Mix flour, salt and yeast. Cut in oleo. Add egg yolks, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly and make into balls about the size of a walnut.
2. Roll out the balls one at a time onto cloth covered with equal amounts of flour and powdered sugar mixed together. Roll into a 4-5 inch circle.
3. Spread with nut filling and roll up and tuck ends.
4. Bake at 400º F for 12-15 minutes until slightly browned.

Filling:
1. Beat egg whites until stiff and dry.
2. Gradually add sugar
3. Fold in nuts and vanilla.
