1 c. Butter Flavored Crisco
1 c. Sugar
1 Egg
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
2 c. Unsifted All Purpose Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Cream of Tarter
1/2 tsp. Salt
Cream butter flavored crisco and sugar in large bowl with mixer on
medium speed. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour with baking
soda and cream of tarter, then blend into creamed mixture.
Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 375º. Roll out dough on 1/8 inch thickness floured
surface. Cut with cookie cutter and place on ungreased baking
sheets.
Bake at 375º for 6-7 minutes.
Cool on baking sheets about 1 minute, the remove to colling racks.
