2 Large Onions (Sliced)
1 lb. Hamburger
2 Green Peppers (Chopped Fine)
2 c. Canned Tomatoes
3 tbsp. Shortening
8 oz. Tomato Sauce
1 tsp. Chili Powder
2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1 c. Rice (Uncooked)
Cook onions and green peppers in shortening until transparent.
Add hamburger and brown. Add tomatoes, rice and seasonings mix
and place in a large greased casserole pan. Cover and bake on 375º
for about 45 mins. or until done.
