1/2 pound meat of choice, usually ground beef or Italian sausage
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 32oz. package frozen bread dough, divided
2 tbsp. prepare mustard, divided or marinara sauce
2 cups grated cheddar, divided
2 cups grated mozzarella, divided
2 - 3oz. packages of pepperoni, optional, divided
1 - 2 tsp. Italian seasoning

1 egg
1 tbsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef with onion and Italian seasonings. Drain and set aside to cool.

For each stromboli, place 1 loaf of bread dough on floured surface and roll to 12" square.

Spread 1 tbsp. marinara over dough and layer 1/2 cup of each grated cheese, and pepperoni if using, and ground beef lengthwise down the center third of dough, leaving a 1/2" border at top and bottom of dough.

Top with 1/2 cup of each cheese.

Fold each side of dough over filling. Pinch seams and ends to seal.

Transfer loaves to greased baking sheets; brush loaves with oil or glaze of egg with water.

Bake @ 350º for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

Cut and enjoy! Serve with marinara sauce.
