2 T instant onion
1 T brown sugar
1 T whole mustard seed
2 t paprika
1 tsp crushed oregano
1 t chili powder
1 tsp cracked pepper
1/2 t salt
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c catsup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup olive or salad oil
1/4 cup tarragon vinegar
2 T wine vinegar
2 T worchestershire sauce
2-3 drops liquid smoke

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a heavy sauce pan. Stir well. Simmer gently 20-25 minutes or until the consistency you like.

Parboil country style pork ribs. Grill on medium heat till almost done. Baste with sauce for remaining time, turning frequently.

note: double and triple and set some aside for the table
