1 c. brown sugar
2 T. corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon, divided
1/4 c. sugar
12 bread slices, white or wheat
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bring brown sugar, corn syrup and butter to a boil in saucepan, stirring constantly. Pour into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan.

Combine 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 c. white sugar. Place 6 pieces of bread flat in pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon/sugar mixture on top of the bread. Next, place 6 more pieces of bread on top of the previous 6 and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon/sugar mixture on top.

Beat together the eggs, milk, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and vanilla. Pour over bread making sure all the bread has been soaked. Store covered in refrigerator over night or at least 8 hours. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
