2 lbs ground beef, 3 or 4 cans whole tomatoes, 3 or 4 potatoes, cut up in bite size pieces, 3 or 4 carrots, sliced, 1 bag frozen vegetables ( I like gumbo with okra), 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp garlic powder, sat & pepper to taste.

Brown ground beef, Drain. In a large Dutch oven add cooked and drained ground beef, cut up tomatoes undrained, cut up potatoes, carrots, bag of vegetables and spices. Cook over medium low heat for several hours. If you need to you can add a little water.
Serve with hot cornbread!!
