Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 sticks + 1/2 cup butter (283 grams)
3 cups sugar ((600 grams)
3 cups flour (370 grams) - I use Einkorn
2 Tablespoons Vanilla
1/2 tsp salt (I use celtic)
6 eggs
5oz Organic Evaporated Milk (142 grams)

Directions:
Directions:
Butter and flour the pan prior to assembling the cake.

Cream butter. Add sugar. Add eggs ( beat in well one at a time ). Add salt. Add flour and milk alternately, starting and ending with flour last. Add flavorings last.

Bake @ 325º for about 1 hour. Will probably need to cook longer, just carefully check the center. It will be brown and crusty on the top.

*Be sure to bake in a cold oven- do not preheat! (Very important or the center won't cook all the way)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a very large cake. I bake it in the Wilton rectangular cake pan.
