2 pounds butternut or buttercup squash
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup butter or margarine, melted
1 T flour
1 t salt
2 baking apples (McIntosh, Portland or Yellow Delicious), cored and cut into ½ inch slices.

Directions:
Directions:
Peel squash and cut into ½ inch slices. Coat squash with melted butter. Arrange apple slices and squash in ungreased baking dish. Top (spoon) sugar mixture over top. Cover with foil. Bake 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees or until squash is tender.
