2 lbs frozen hash browns
¾ cup melted butter
1 teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon pepper
½ cup chopped onion
10 oz grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom, chicken or onion soup
1 pint (16 oz) sour cream
Topping: 1 cup crushed Corn Flakes
1/8 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw potatoes for a short while. Put potatoes in casserole or a 9 x 13 pan; pour butter over. Add salt and pepper and onion. Mix together sour cream and soup. Pour over potatoes and mix well. Top with grated cheese. Cover with topping. Bake covered at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes to brown top.
