2 cups pecan halves
3/4 cup water
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 Tbsp canola oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Line baking sheet with foil; spray with non-stick spray.

In a large saucepan, combine water, sugar and nuts. Boil over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring often.

With a slotted spoon, remove nuts and lay on cookie sheet. Bake 10-13 minutes or until lightly browned.

Remove from sheet and place in bowl. Drizzle with oil and vanilla.

Mix together salt, cinnamon and cayenne. Sprinkle over nuts. Toss evenly to coat. Return to cookie sheet and place in oven for 10 minutes.

Allow to cool completely, then store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
