1/4 c. canola oil
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. puffed cereal
1 1/2 c. rolled oats (not instant oats)
1 c. raisins or craisins

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Oil or spray a baking sheet.

Combine oil, sugar, syrup and vanilla. Stir in cereal and oats. Spread evenly, leaving some clumps, onto the baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes and stir. Return to oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes. At 20 minutes, stir in raisins or craisins and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.

This is a very good base recipe. You could add nuts, sunflower seeds, or whatever suits your taste.
