1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 envelope Lipton onion soup
1 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp lime or lemon juice
1 20 can pineapple - drain reserving the juice
6 chicken breasts or 1 pound of chicken tenders
3/4 cup pineapple juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
1. In a medium saucepan melt butter, and stir in onion soup and cornstarch.
2. Add pineapple juice and lime or lemon juice.
3. Arrange chicken & pineapple chunks in a 2 quart dish or 13x9 pan.
4. Pour in onion mixture and bake for 45 minutes.

This recipe became a family favorite after I found it in a Dole pineapple advertisement. I cooked it for Mom and Dad while living in New Roads. Mom loved it and copied it down. She cooked it frequently even when the family went camping.
