For cake:
1 Pkg Pillsbury Plus Devils Food or German Chocolate cake mix
21 oz. Can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. Almond extract
2 Eggs beaten

For frosting:
1 c. Sugar
5 Tbsp. Butter
1/3 c. Milk
6 oz. Pkg. of Chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake ingredients by hand with a spoon.
Pour into a greased & floured 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Frost after cake has cooled.

In small sauce pan bring sugar, butter & milk to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips until melted.
Pour over cake.
Let cool and serve with whipped topping.
