4-6 lbs deer or other wild game roast
1 1/2 tsp pepper
2 1/2 cups BBQ sauce
3/4 cup cherry preserves
1 T Dijon mustard
1 Garlic clove minced
Minced Jalapeņos (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Place roast in crock pot. Sprinkle with pepper. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the meat. cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Remove roast, pull into shreds. Return meat to crock pot and mix with sauce. Allow to simmer at least one additional hour. Serve with or without buns

I like to add extra pepper, garlic, mustard, and jalapeņos.
