1 qt. beef broth
1 tbsp sugar
3 cups thinly sliced yellow onions
2 tbsp of flour
1/4 cup of cooking brandy
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1 cup of Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet; reduce heat to low; add onions cover and let cook 15 minutes. Mix together sugar, flour, salt and brandy; stir well. Add to the broth & cook for 3-6 hours. To serve sprinkle with Parmesan cheese or grated mozzarella and croutons.
