1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups chocolate flavored syrup
1 cup flour
Mint layer:
2 cups confectioners sugar
1/2 cup butter-softened
2 tbsp green creme de menthe
Chocolate glaze:
6 tbsp butter
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips* (chocolate or mint flavored)

Heat oven 350ºF. Grease 13x9x2" pan. In large mixer bowl combine butter and sugar till blended. Add eggs, beat smooth; add syrup and flour, beat. Pour into pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until top springs back. Cool completely in pan. Spread Mint layer on cake. Chill and cover. Pour chocolate glaze over dessert, cover and chill 1 hour before serving. Cut into 12 - 3inch squares. Cut each square diagonally into halves. (24 triangles).

Mint layer: In small mixer bowl combine 2 cups confectioners sugar, 1/2 cup butter softened, 2 tbsp green creme de menthe, beat until smooth.

Chocolate glaze: In small saucepan over low heat melt 6 tbsp butter. Remove from heat. Add 1 cup chocolate chips; stir until chips are melted. cool completely.
