1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp finely grated orange peel
1/3 cup orange juice
1/4 cup old style course grind mustard
1 tsp minced fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp dry ground ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper (Optional)
1 pork loin roast up to 5 lbs

In a small bowl combine honey, orange peel, orange juice, mustard, ginger, salt and red pepper, set aside. Prepare and preheat grill for cooking indirectly. Salt and pepper roast to your liking and put over hot coals to sear outside of roast. After searing is done move roast to indirect heat and cook till about 100º. Start basting every 10 minutes with prepared sauce. Pull Roast off grill and wrap tightly in foil when at 150 to 160º. Let sit about 10 minutes. After ten minutes remove foil , baste again and slice in 1/2 to 3/4 slices across the grain. Serve any extra sauce as dipping sauce if you have some left.

This was one of my first favorite BBQ pork loin recipes. Its flavor will surprise your taste buds. The roast has a nice golden brown glaze on it when done. This is good served with new potatoes or a corn casserole.
