1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Spoon onto cookie sheet and lightly press each cookie with a fork to create a criss-cross pattern. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool completely before eating.
