COOKIES:
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. soft margarine or butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped cashews (about 9 1/2 oz can)

FROSTING:
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. margarine
2-3 T. Half and Half or milk
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
For cookies, mix brown sugar, margarine, egg and vanilla until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and drop on cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes or until edges are gold. Let cool and frost.
For frosting, beat all ingredients until smooth and frost cooled cookies.
