1 1/3 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 3/4 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients.
Step 2: Separate the eggs, adding the yolks to the dry ingredient mixture, and placing the whites in a small mixing bowl.
Step 3: Beat whites until moderately stiff and set aside.
Step 4: Add milk and melted butter to dry ingredient mixture and blend.
Step 5: Fold stiff egg whites into mixture.
Step 6: Spoon the mixture onto a hot waffle iron and bake!

I love to serve these waffles with fresh cut strawberries and maple syrup :)) They also freeze very well! Do all the work on the weekend and then pop them into the toaster during a busy morning and serve! P.S. They taste just as good with half flour and half oatmeal if you want to be sneaky. :)
