1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. whole salted cashews
Brown Butter Frosting:
1/2 c. margarine or butter
2 c. powdered sugar
3 T. cream
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. In large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; blend. Add dry ingredients and sour cream; mix well. Carefully stir in cashews. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes. Cool 1 minute and remove from cookie sheet.
For Frosting: Melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat until lightly browned. Blend in powdered sugar. Add cream and vanilla. Beat by hand until smooth and of spreading consistency.
