-3 lbs beef short ribs
-48 oz beef broth
-1 onion sliced
-2 cloves garlic, whole
-2 cloves garlic minced
-1/4 cup all purpose flour
-oil
-salt
-pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º F
2. Season ribs liberally with salt and pepper
3. Lightly dust ribs with flour
4. In a Dutch over or heavy stockpot add 2 tbsp oil
5. Lightly brown 2 cloves garlic/then remove
6. Thoroughly brown the meat on all sides
7. Then, with 1/2 water and 1/2 beef broth to cover
ribs
8. Bring to a boil
9. Remove ribs from Dutch oven and place in oven
proof casserole dish
10. Add remaining garlic, sliced onion, and about 1
cup of beef broth to the ribs
11. Cover casserole with aluminum foil
12. Roast (braise) for 2 hours

If you like beef, you will love this! Absolutely delicious and fork tender. Make sure to use the liquid in the casserole to make some brown gravy. Yum!Yum! Serve with mashed potatoes and a good cooked vegetable.
