3 lbs. "small" meaty spareribs
1/4 cup Sugar
1 t salt

GINGER ROOT BAR-B-Q SAUCE
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup catsup
2 T grated ginger root or 2 t dry ginger
1 t MSG

Directions:
Directions:
Sauce - Mix all together and let stand overnight before using.

Rub ribs on both sides with sugar and salt. Let stand for 2 hours. Brush with Ginger Root Bar-B-Q sauce. Let stand for at least hour (the longer the better) Place ribs meat side up on rack in shallow pan. Bake in a very hot oven 450º for 15 minutes. Pour off fat. Continue baking in moder oven 350º for 1 hour or until done, turning ribs and brushing with sauce occasionally while baking.
