Ingredients: 1 package yellow cake mix -- set 1 cup aside 1/2 cup unsalted butter -- melted 1/8 cup milk 1/4 cup sugar 1 tablespoon flour 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 jar pecan pumpkin butter 3 large egg 1/4 cup butter -- room temp

Directions:Preheat oven to 350. Reserve 1 cup cake mix. Combine remaining cake mix with melted butter and 1 egg in a bowl, Press this mixture into bottom of a 9 x 13" pan.
Mix together the jar of pumpkin butter with 2 eggs and the milk. Pour this mixture over the cake mixture in the pan.
Stir the reserved cup of cake mix with the flour, sugar, softened butter and cinnamon. Mix together until crumbly. (You can add a little brown sugar and/or crushed pecans to the mixture also.) Sprinkle over the top of the pumpkin layer.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until gloden brown. Cut into squares. |

Notes: I got this recipe from Wm Sonoma and it is a great fall time treat. They are very rich so cut them into small squares and make them thinner rather than thicker.
