4-5 apples peeled and sliced
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 cup oil
4 eggs
1/4 cup pineapple or orange juice
2 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cinnamon mixed with 5 tsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
In a large bowl mix sugar, oil, eggs, juice and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder. Beat 5 minutes.
In a well greased tube pan layer 1/2 batter, 1/2 apples, 1/2 cinnamon/sugar mixture, then repeat with other half.
Bake 1 3/4 hours.
