2 small cans kidney beans and one box of cut ziti
2 small cans chic peas
one onion chopped
4 tbsp dried parsley
2 tsp salt and pepper each
hot pepper to taste
2 tbsp dried garlic powder
two or three small cans stewed tomatoes
about five cloves of garlic finely chopped

Cover bottom of pot with olive oil add chopped garlic let brown, add onion let cook for ten minutes, add stewed tomatoes, cut the tomatoes up a little in pan while cooking, add kidney beans, add chic peas, add parsley ,salt ,pepper , and garlic powder, add hot pepper to taste. add about half cup of water. cover and cook on medium- low for twenty minutes. Add your cooked macaroni and Enjoy :) Homemade garlic bread compliments this dish very well..
The vegetarian pasta should not be watery like soup but thinner than your traditional gravy.

I like to use San Giorgio Mostaccioli Rigati Macaroni when I make this. I usually do not measure when I cook, so they were estimates.. I use my Italian intuition when cooking.. You know ? A little o dis and a little of dat.. and lots of GARLIC...... Mmmmmmm ;)
