1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white karo syrup
1 cube butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. popcorn kernels
Large brown paper bag

Directions:
Directions:
Mix brown sugar, karo syrup, butter and salt in a bowl. Heat for 2-2 1/2 minutes in microwave until full boil. Pop the popcorn kernels. Mix soda into syrup mixture until foamy. Put popcorn in brown bag, pour syrup into bag and shake. Heat for 2 minutes in microwave and shake. Heat for 2 more minutes and shake. Pour out into a large bowl.

I was given this recipe years ago when my kids were young. It was a fun way to make caramel corn and a yummy treat.
