1 bell pepper
4 jalapeno peppers (fresh)
6 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
1 bottle Certo pectin

Directions:
Directions:
Cut peppers and put in blender with 1/2 c. vinegar. Bring rest of vinegar and sugar to boil in large heavy saucepan. Add blended pepper mixture to vinegar and sugar mixture. Add Certo and bring to a boil; cook 2 minutes. Add food coloring (green or red, your choice). Put in sterlized jars. Serve jelly as an accompaniment to meat or serve with cream cheese, summer sausage, layered on wheat thins or ritz crackers as an appetizer.
