3 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 1/3 c. oil
1 1/2 c. milk
3 tsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter flavoring
Icing:
1/4 c. orange juice
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, sugar and oil. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to egg mixture alternating with milk. Add extracts and poppy seeds. Bake in 2 greased loaf pans for 1 hour at 350º. Icing: bring ingredients to a boil and pour over loaves while still hot.

This has some odd flavorings and extracts, but it's good. I've doubled the vanilla and omitted the almond extract and it still works.
Note from Gail: This is my favorite sweet bread and I like it the best with all flavorings.
