1 cup or 2 sticks butter or margarine
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup light or dark Karo Syrup
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
6 quarts popcorn

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large saucepan.
Stir in brown sugar, Karo syrup, and salt stirring constantly. Bring to boil.
Boil 5 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla.

Pour over popcorn and bake in shallow pan for 1 hour, at 250º. Stir every 15 minutes.
