5 pound beef brisket
1/2 c. Liquid Smoke
juice of one lemon
1 c. Catsup
2 T. prepared mustard
1 t. garlic salt
1 t. chili powder
1 t. celery seed
1 t. brown sugar
1 t. Worcestershire
1 t. paprika
1 medium yellow onion, sliced

Place brisket in a shallow baking dish. Mix all remaining ingredients together, spoon over the brisket, cover with foil and marinate in refrigerator overnight. Leave the pan covered and place in a 275 degree oven for about five hours (or one hour per pound, if the brisket weighs more or less than 5 lbs).
