Ingredients:  
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 T. thick cream
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 T. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together shortening, sugar and eggs
Stir in cream and vanilla
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in and then chill the dough.

Mix together in saucepan raisins, sugar, water and lemon juice. Cook until thickened (about 5 minutes) Cool

Roll and cut out dough (cut round hole in middle of top cut out)
Fill bottom cut out with raisin filling, cover with top cut out.

Bake @ 400º for 8-10 minutes
