6 strips bacon,1 c. wild rice, 1 c. diced onion, 1 c.
diced carrots, 1 c. celery, 1/2 c.flour, 12 c. chicken stock, salt and pepper. 2 tsp thyme, 3 c. heavy cream, 2 T minced parsley, 1oz. dried morels

Directions:
Directions:
Chop bacon and saute until crisp. Remove and reserve. Add rice and vegetables to the bacon grease and saute until crisp/tender. Add flour, stir and cook for 1 minute, then add stock and thyme. Bring to boil, reduce heat, then simmer covered until rice is barely tender about 30 minutes. Reconstitute the dried morels and drain and slice. Add to soup-then the cream and through. Add parsley, bacon and salt and pepper.
