3/4 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c ketchup
2 tbsp cider or white wine vinegar
1 tsp ground ginger
5 lb country style pork ribs
2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
1/4 c soy sauce
1/4 c honey
3 garlic cloves, minced (optional)
1 tsp salt
1 medium onion, sliced
1 tbsp chopped green onions

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, honey, vinegar, garlic, ginger & salt. Add ribs and turn until coated. Place onion in a 5 qt slow cooker & arrange ribs on top. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hrs or until meat thermometer reads 160-170º. Place ribs on a platter, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.

Makes 6 servings.
