"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lb. ground beef
1 package onion soup mix
1 egg
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and shape into loaf. Line your favorite loaf pan with foil first and then a layer of Saran wrap. Make sure that both pieces will be large enough to completely cover your meatloaf. Place meatloaf in loaf pan and seal the 2 wraps around the meatloaf. Place loaf pan and sealed meatloaf in freezer for a couple of hours. Once meatloaf is semi-frozen remove it from loaf pan. Place meatloaf back in freezer. This process allows you to freeze your meatloaf in the shape of the pan you will be cooking it in but doesn't require you to freeze your pan.
Directions for Serving Day: Unwrap meatloaf and defrost in loaf pan. Place in the loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.
