1&1/2 cups sifted flour
2 cups cranberries
1/3 cups hot water
1/3 cups dark molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
Vanilla Sauce
1 stick butter
1/2 cup whipping cream or 1/2 and 1/2
cup powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Add the liquid mixture to the dry and mix . Spoon into buttered loaf pan or ring mold.
Cover loosely with aluminum foil. Put in electric skillet with 1" water (pan on rack), cover, steam at 300 degrees for 3 hours, or steam in oven 3 hours.

Sauce
1 stick butter melted in pan on low fire
Add: 1/2 cup whipping cream or 1/2 and 1/2
Add: 1 cup powdered sugar - Stir at low heat until sugar melts
Add: 2 tsp. vanilla
Sauce can be poured into glass jar and reheated in hot water.
