6 lb. lean gnd beef (hamburger)
3 c chili sauce (3 bottles)
3 c chopped onion
3 c quick-cooking oats
6 eggs
9 to 12 tbsp horseradish mustard
3 tsp salt
3 tsp coarse gnd pepper
3 cans diced chili-mild
2 cans diced chili-hot
15 jalapeņos-diced
12 jalapeņos-sliced
additional horseradish mustard, see directions

Directions:

Makes 3 loafs of increasing hotness.
Mix beef, chili sauce, onions, eggs, oats, mustard, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
Add the mild chill's, mix well.
Pack a 9 x 5 inch pan with 1/3 of this mix.
Add hot chill's and 3 tbsp mustard and mix well.
Pack a 9 x 5 inch pan with 1/3 of this mix
Add diced jalapeņos and 3 tbsp mustard, mix
Pack a 9 x 5 pan with the balance of mix.
Make a groove on top of first loaf and fill it with a line of horseradish mustard.
Make two grooves on top of second loaf and fill with horseradish mustard.
Make a groove on third loaf and fill with mustard and a line of sliced jalapeņos.
This marks them as reg, hot, hotter.
Bake 1 hour on a closed bar-b-que, or
1 hour at 350d in an oven.

This three degrees of hot has developed over time. All of us have different levels of hot? The key here is to mark the tops so you will be able to tell which loaf you have as leftovers. Leftovers are great!
