2 lb. ripe peaches
1 1/2 lb. fully ripe Italian prune plums
1 (1 3/4 oz.) pkg. powdered fruit pectin
5 1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Peel and pit peaches; chop very fine. Pit plums; chop very fine. Mix fruits together; and measure
4 1/2 c. into large saucepan. Place saucepan of fruit over high heat. Add pectin. Stir until mixture comes to a hard boil. Stir in sugar at once. Bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Skim and stir for 5 minutes. Ladle quickly into hot, sterilized glasses. Seal at once.
