Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 package (1 pint) of 9 Bean, or goodness sometimes you find 13 Bean Soup mixes, 2 quarts water, 1 large onion chopped, 1 clove of garlic minced, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 10 oz can Rotel (tomatoes and green chilis), 1 quart tomatoes, 1 pound cubed ham.

Directions:
Directions:
Add the beans, from the package, to the water in a large stew pot, with the onion and garlic. Cook until beans are tender, then add salt, Rotel, tomatoes and ham. Cook until beans are "splitting open" tender. ( can use a ham bone with ham still on it, and after soup is done, take the bone out, remove the ham, chunk it up and return it to the soup.) ( I usually don't add the seasoning packet from the bean package to the soup).
