• ½ C butter
• 1 C brown sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 ½ C flour
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp ground allspice
• 1 tsp ground cloves
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp baking soda
• 1 C beer
• ½ C coarsely chopped walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter or margarine and brown sugar. Beat in egg. Mix together flour, spices, baking powder & soda. Add to batter alternately with beer. Stir in nuts. Turn out batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 50 mins at 350. Cool before cutting.
